These are the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store in 2016

Sony has released a list of the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store in 2016. And surprisingly, an indie game led the pack: Rocket League was the most downloaded game on the store for the year 2016. That’s quite an accomplishment, considering the competition it had.

Besides Minecraft, Rocket League was the only indie game on the list, which is dominated by big AAA titles.

    No man’s sky is up there? That must had been one big lie that trick thousands of people to download that game. That’s surprising nonetheless.

      It was a top seller of the year on Steam too. I think this game was an even bigger faceplant than Aliens: Colonial Marines and other similar titles. I’m wondering if this is the title that’s really going to shake up pre-ordering, or if there’s going to be a bigger bomb in the future.

        True. I’ve completely forgotten about that terrible alien game that even the failed Nintendo Wii U rejected. I’m sure it’s going to give game’s a rises eyebrow now to promising games like no man’s skys
