Attack on Titan game gets western release date [VIDEO]

Attack on Titan PS4

A few months ago, Tecmo Koei announced that they would be developing an Attack on Titan game with the musou (Dynasty Warriors) formula. With the game having launched on the PS4 and PS3 in Japan in February, it was only a matter of time until we heard of a western release. According to the studio, Attack on Titan (A.O.T. Wings of Freedom in the UK) will be making its way overseas this August 26th.

The announcement comes paired with a brand-new trailer, showing off some of the game’s environments and combat mechanics as well as the various characters from the anime. As one would expect, the game features all the major players from the first season of the anime.

The game will have Japanese voiceovers with subtitles in English, French, and German. Sorry, dub lovers. Attack on Titan will be available on the PS4 at retailers and PS3 and PS Vita on the PlayStation Store.

I wasn’t sure this would receive a western release. But I’m super happy it is, the game looks like it is a lot of fun, and I really enjoy the AoT universe.

Its a shame it wont be dubbed 🙁 i wont buy it then. I dont mind watching anime in subs but im not gonna be able to read what they are saying while dodging titans at the same time.
