December’s PlayStation Plus update is full of hardboiled freedom and knights

The PlayStation Blog has revealed December’s PlayStation Plus update to the Instant Game Collection and it adds some coop action for PS4 owners and Monster Hunter-like gameplay for PS Vita owners.

Headlining the PS4 releases is Gauntlet: Slayer Edition, an isometric RPG that hearkens back to the Gauntlet of old, allowing you to run your way through dungeons with your friends. The first episode of the new King’s Quest series will give you a slice of what to expect from the episodic revival.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken throws you into the shoes of a beefy chicken trying to save the world from evil. Meanwhile, Freedom Wars asks you to earn your freedom in a Monster Hunter like fashion.

Here’s everything you can indulge upon following next week’s PlayStation Plus update:

  • Gauntlet: Slayer Edition
  • King Quest – Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember

PS Vita

  • Rocketbirds Hardboiled
  • Freedom Wars
