PlayStation Vita TV coming to the US and Canada this fall

One of Sony’s most shocking announcements last year was the PlayStation Vita TV. While the little console itself hasn’t sold all too well in Japan, that hasn’t stopped Sony from going forward with their plans to bring it to the US and Canada.

Sony’s Shawn Layden announced that Sony will be bringing it as the PlayStation TV this Fall in two models. The first model will include just the PlayStation TV for $99.99. The second model will come with the following for $129.99:

  • 8gb card
  • DualShock 3
  • HDMI Cable
  • Lego Movie Videogame

With the PlayStation TV, gamers will be able to play PS3 titles through PlayStation Now, some PS Vita games, and select PS1 and PSP games.

Sony also announced that Disney Infinity will be making its way to the PS TV and PS Vita in 2015 although how this would be handled with the portals and figures wasn’t discussed.
