Here’s the PlayStation 4 commercial airing in Japan

The PlayStation 4 has been enjoying success worldwide, but it’s still not released in Sony’s home country of Japan. The above commercial is currently airing in the region in order to get Japanese consumers ready for the launch, which is happening on February 22. Sony already explained that the delayed launch for Japan was because of a lack of Japanese-oriented titles for the system, so it seems like the company is doing well to cater to its specific audiences.

At launch, the Japanese version of the PlayStation 4 will have 17 launch titles to choose from, with well-known western series in the mix along with eastern titles like Yakuza and Dynasty Warriors. Here’s the full list:

  • Assassin’s Creed 4
  • Battlefield 4
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts
  • Doki-Doki Universe
  • Dream Club: Host Girls on Stage
  • Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends
