PS4 News App for Android launches on the Google Play Store!

The PS4 launched on Friday. You had all weekend to irresponsibly ignore your priorities, lock yourself indoors, and play whatever Playstation 4 games you purchased until your eyelids became too heavy to hold up. Launch weekend is over, and although it’s back to reality, those with an Android smartphone or tablet can remain connected to everything Playstation 4, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (download the app here).

That’s right: has just launched a beautifully designed PS4 Android App on the Google Play Store to help quench your thirst for everything Playstation. It’s got all the great content you’ll find on PS4 Daily, optimized for your mobile device.

Some additional features we think you’ll enjoy:

  • “Star” articles for future reading or reference
  • Read and leave comments with custom designed DISQUS integration
  • Easy-login with your Google, Facebook, or Twitter account
  • View featured articles and browse by article categories and tags
  • Get status notifications when new articles are ready to read
  • Toggle between light and dark theme for optimized viewing during day and night
  • Adjust font size to fit your personal preference
  • Optimized for both smartphones and tablets
  • Battery optimized: PS4 Daily News should have very little impact on your battery!

Given the fact that Sony’s own Playstation 4 app hasn’t exactly wowed consumers, we hope this app will at least partially help bridge the gap.

So go ahead: download the PS4 News app for Android, try to comment on this article from the app, explore the news and features, and let us know what you like or don’t like. We want to earn your 5-star review, so if you’ve got issues, problems, or suggestions please contact us!
