Amazon has become an online shipping juggernaut and mostly everyone I know thoroughly enjoys their service and support. That being said, Amazon may be suffering from the outrageous demands of the PlayStation 4, with customer complaints popping up across the web regarding their PS4 purchase experiences. Here is how one redditor received his package:
To the guy who packed this thing: obviously, you’re not a golfer. The bubble wrap on the top is loosely sprinkled on the box, offering absolutely no support. Furthermore, there is zero bubble wrap on the bottom, leaving the PS4 vulnerable to any considering drop.
As a result, this guy’s PS4 wouldn’t even turn on. And he’s not alone.
We understand that things happen. Deliveries are made, people make mistakes, packages are dropped, things break. That’s okay, we’ll survive and the world will keep turning. But it’s a bit of a different story when things break due to poor preparation and lack of diligence. We assume Amazon themselves were responsible for packaging the PS4 shipments, but we’re in no position to verify. We’re also sure they had a LOT of consoles to package and ship in a short period of time, but that’s not a good excuse.
Did you order the PS4 from Amazon? How was the shipping for your console?
