Killzone Shadow Fall won’t support local co-op multiplayer?

Killzone Shadow Fall PlayStation 4
Killzone Shadow Fall is easily the most anticipated PlayStation 4 launch title. From what we’ve seen so far (screenshots and videos), the game looks absolutely stunning. But according to the official game page, co-op multiplayer will be limited in the game.

The official Killzone Shadow Fall website now reveals that the game will only support 1 player locally, meaning there will be no local co-op. Local co-op was offered in previous Killzone games, as well as competitive online multiplayer.

While there’s no doubt that Killzone Shadow Fall will support online multiplayer on the PlayStation 4, and possibly online co-op, some might be disappointed that they won’t be able to play the campaign locally with a friend via split-screen.

Hopefully we’ll get to see some Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer at E3 next week. Sony will kick off its E3 press conference on June 10 at 6PM. It will be live streamed on the official PlayStation site and various other video sites.

That’s balls, I want to be able to play online/campaign with a friend. It’d be more fun with a friend

Nothing wrong with single player :/
I always find it brings me into the game more than joking around with a friend

    “and possibly online co-op”

I doubt it. If the game doesn’t support local co-op campaigns, why would it support online co-op? It’s basically the same thing except you’re playing online. Obviously the game’s campaign was designed to be strictly one player, which I’m perfectly fine with.

Local multiplayers are more fun. But I don’t have anything against Online multiplayer 🙂 Can’t wait for E3 2013

I wouldn’t have used it even if it supported the feature. At least there’s that feature where a friend can take over if that’s even close in any way.

So…I can’t play local split-screen through the campaign? Well…there goes my purchase. Stop taking out important features. People still like to actually sit down and play games with their friends on a couch….why can’t developers figure this fact out?

    Well that would be fantastic
