A recent press release came in through email and from the @Nnooo Twitter account alerting everyone to the news that the Sydney-based developer of escapeVektor on Vita is now an approved PS4 developer. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe approved them for development on PlayStation 4 and they are already hard at work on a new game.
Nic Watt, Creative Director at Nnooo, is quoted with saying:
It’s exciting to be developing for a new generation of consoles. We’re delighted to get early access to PS4 development kits so we can get our games on the console as quickly as possible.
Nnooo’s next game will be a multiplatform release which will include a PS4 and Vita version. Nothing more is known about the game including its title or anything below that. “Hopefully we’ll be able to say something about it around the middle of the year,” says Watt. The development studio will also be hiring new staff to fill the demand of the multiplatform release and new development kits.
