Quantic Dream working on PlayStation 4 project

Quantic Dream PlayStation 4
Quantic Dream is one of those developers who really stand out from the rest. They first came to light with Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy, and later became very famous with the PS3-exclusive Heavy Rain. Later this year, they’ll be releasing their latest project: Beyond: Two Souls.

And now the French studio has revealed that they are indeed working on a PlayStation 4 game. The developer was present at the PS4 unveiling on Febraury 20th, but was only there for a technology showcase (they were the ones showcasing the “old man” seen above). Now they’ve confirmed that they are actually working on a game.

Quantic Dream CEO Guillaume de Fondaumière commented on their projects and the PlayStation 4, saying that the PS4 is “very easy” to work with, and added:

“For us, a new console is another reason to try and innovate. What is certain is that whatever we’re working on on PS4 is not going to resemble what we’re doing on PS3… We’re going to try and reinvent ourselves.”

Quantic Dream usually take their time with their projects, so don’t expect a gorgeous, cinematic Quantic Dream game any time soon.

I feel like there are trolls or haters on this website. Almost every good comment gets a down vote or two

    • Quantic Dream are actually a 3rd party owned by Sony so really a Wii U game made by them is pretty unlikely.

damn, oh well, hope they make good games for the PS4 then!

Is there a difference between 3rd party owned by a company and 2nd party, or are they just the same? I’ve always wondered that.

        • well a 2nd party company is actually a company made by the 1st party company, for example:

Nintendo owns Retro Studios which was created by Nintendo.

Sony owns Quantic Dream but the company was already a 3rd party before Sony bought them.

Companies like Naughty Dog are also a 3rd party company who was bought over by Sony.

Oh so companies like Rare Ware and stuff are third party. Okay. Thank you.
