Primal Carnage was a fun game. It was a multiplayer shooter that pitted a team of human players against a team of dinosaurs — an intriguing concept. Now developer Lukewarm Media has announced that its sequel, Primal Carnage: Genesis, is coming to the PlayStation 4. The news was revealed by the developer at the Game Developers Conference, which is currently in progress in San Francisco.
This time around, the game would be a “story driven, episodic single player adventure”, and will be released on the PlayStation 4 as a launch title later this year. The game will also be released on the PC at a later date. To make things even more exciting, the game is built on the new Unreal Engine 4, which looked gorgeous running on the PlayStation 4. It’s one of the first Unreal Engine 4 games confirmed to be coming to the PlayStation 4, if not the first.
It’ll be interesting to see what kind of PlayStation 4 specific features the game has. We expect more details at E3 in June.
