Sony touts the PlayStation 4 as a machine for hardcore gamers, and that it was built by game developers, not some Sony executives. And even GameStop seems to agree to that.
The largest game retailer in the world, GameStop recently checked out the PlayStation 4 at a closed event held by Sony, where the new console was showcased to retailers, developers, and publishers.
Overall, GameStop CEO appears to be very impressed with the new console. He tweeted “#PS4 is clearly focused on developers & gamers. We have a lot of excitement ahead of us!”
When designing the PS4, Sony went and talked to its first party and second party developers, making sure they got everything they needed for the machine. We’ll hear and see a lot more of the PlayStation 4 at E3 this year.
