GameStop: PS4 is clearly focused on developers and gamers

GameStopSony touts the PlayStation 4 as a machine for hardcore gamers, and that it was built by game developers, not some Sony executives. And even GameStop seems to agree to that.

The largest game retailer in the world, GameStop recently checked out the PlayStation 4 at a closed event held by Sony, where the new console was showcased to retailers, developers, and publishers.

Overall, GameStop CEO appears to be very impressed with the new console. He tweeted “#PS4 is clearly focused on developers & gamers. We have a lot of excitement ahead of us!”

When designing the PS4, Sony went and talked to its first party and second party developers, making sure they got everything they needed for the machine. We’ll hear and see a lot more of the PlayStation 4 at E3 this year.

  • Which is why I believe the PS4 WONT fail unlike those Wii U fanboys who bitch you talk about the negative stuff that Nintendo is doing.

    Can’t wait for the PS4

Ya… all fanboys do that, thats why they’re called fanboys.

Yeah, at $400+ it won’t fail AT ALL.

For sure, the ps4 will be the best system ever. Im not happy Playstation put a swipe pad and move thingy on there controller that seems lame as fuck. I just want to lay on my couch and play a fucking game after work, not move the controller around and swipe that pad, I just want to rest and play a fucking game normaly.

I have no desire to jump on the PS4 bandwagon and buy at launch like I’ve done with the previous 3 iterations of the play station. I will wait and see this time round.

Seriously if the social media bullshit is big enough a deal for the console to be touted as innovation and a system seller, there are issues. Seriously, who gives a shit?

Give me good games, and some backwards compatibility so I can replace my PS3 and I’m happy.
