Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, will be coming to the new PlayStation 4 console. Last week there were rumors about the new Assassin’s Creed 4 coming out on next gen platforms, and now Ubisoft has confirmed just that.
According to Assassin’s Creed 4 director Ashraf Ismail, the new AnvilNext game engine, which was used in Assassin’s Creed 3 on the Xbox 360 and PS3, was built with next-gen in mind, which means Assassin’s Creed 4 on the PS4 should end up looking much better than its PS3 counterpart.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will be out on October 29 in North America, and will likely be a launch title for the PlayStation 4.
